Upload* a skin to get started. Legacy (pre-1.8, 64x32) skins will be converted to modern 64x64 skins.
Once you're done, click "Download Skin".
This tool helps you to set up the "magic pixels" in your skin that are read by the Ears mod. You can see it as the various colors on the left center of the skin shown below. This means that in order for changes made here to apply, you must save the skin below and upload it to Mojang! If you do not do this, no Ears features will appear in-game. There is no in-game configuration GUI or anything for Ears, all the options are encoded into those magic pixels.

You can use this to learn where the regions for various features are, so you can add them to your skin.

There is data encoded in the alpha channel of the skin.
This may cause some skin viewers to show corrupted pixels, but will not affect the skin's
appearance in-game.
However, no options are enabled that use this data. You can if you wish.
